Riverside Emergency Mgt office has requested evacuation warnings for Zones: RVC-2051, RVC-2052, RVC-1984, the Southern portion of RVC-1983A, and RVC-2121

Fire Started on Hwy 74 West West of Pinyon Pines. It is 120 acres

Multiple County Fire resources remain deployed assisting #USFS on #GoldFire north of Big Bear Lake. Two Type 3 engine companies, one water tender, one brush patrol and two chief officers are on scene. Latest update is 348 acres with zero containment.

Per Gold Fire Incident Command. Gold Fire Is At 348 Acres With Some Spotting Taking Place. The Fire Is Burning In Difficult To Access Terrain. Additional Aircraft Are Working This Fire. The Fire Continues To Move North East Away From The Big Bear Valley.

per scanner a few minutes ago.... one heli currently assigned (others are refueling , crew exchange). Per ADSB exchange, it looks like CRF607 is dipping at Fawn Skin

The Gold Fire continues to Burn North of Holcomb Valley. Fire is burning East North East away from the Big Bear Valley. Numerous ground and air resources are on the fire with additional air tankers enroute to the incident as of 12:30pm.
