Kelly Victory, MD, is a board-certified trauma and emergency specialist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She served as CMO for Whole Health Management, delivering on-site healthcare services for Fortune 500 companies. She holds a BS from Duke University and her MD from the University of North Carolina.
Dr Victory is an expert in disaster preparedness and the medical management of mass casualties. She is a member of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative, a combined effort of Harvard School of Public Health and the Kennedy School of Government to develop meta-leaders for national disaster preparedness and response. She has worked closely with officials from Homeland Security, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and multiple branches of the military.
Dr Victory has been a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School Healthcare Conference, and she is a member of the Leadership Council at Harvard School of Public Health. She is the former president of the Colorado chapter of Docs4PatientCare, a physician group dedicated to protecting the doctor-patient relationship and personal choice in healthcare. Dr Victory also served as an advisor to the Romney healthcare policy team and remains actively involved in the reform debate. Dr Victory currently teaches an “Active Shooter Rapid Response and Extraction” course and “Leadership in Times of Crisis” for first responders, community leaders, and organizations, aimed at limiting casualties, improving outcomes and enhancing resiliency. She makes frequent radio and television appearances to discuss issues related to healthcare policy, emergency and disaster, and public health.

Although I guessed what this video was about to say I still, out of respect for other’s opinions, watched it. I’m not sure what benefit it was supposed to have. Saying “if” we have a second wave in the fall - the virus dies in temps in the 80’s - the virus will decline when the weather warms up - we shouldn’t social distance or wear masks unless we are sick or have underlying health conditions - 85% have little or “no” symptoms - referring to the drug used for Malaria and arthritis as a treatment -don’t concern yourself about children because they won’t be affected unless they have health conditions - everyone not sick should go back to work and school and everyone should live their normal lives unless they have health conditions or covid19. So... Every normally healthy person basically forget we have covid19 out there because there is nothing to worry about. What part of every statement there is valid? If you have it how do you know? Healthy people get the virus. Children get it and come home. One person can give it to 100 others in crowded locations. What was missing in all that was how did this current explosion of the covid19 happen or is that a hoax too?
I didn't watch it, will later. I don't believe we'll have a second wave in the fall, in that we'll never get out of the first wave. It's now apparent heat isn't killing it, but we are approaching herd immunity level(s), which "should" allow it to start decreasing on its own. But this virus hasn't done a lot of things it "should". With all that, some form of treatment and a vaccine, hopefully, we can pull out of this by the New Year.

I know some of our fellow community members have some connections to those running for election here in next 5 months. (Hint Hint). I’m wondering if they could get just 1 question answered out of the many, on the county reported testing. If someone test positive for antibodies, but negative for virus. Do they get added to new case count? I tried emailing our county supervisor and health dept, but they’re kinda dodging questions like 2nd graders dodge balls😂
