No good deed goes unpunished.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.

Where's my kayak!!

What doesn't kill me does NOT make me stronger. It makes me anxious, bitchy, and vulnerable...but nobody wants to see that embroidered on a pillow...Lisa Kogan...thx LXL...sorry i stole it from you! Ok, maybe I'm not sorry :-P

But, it doesn't take long and it'll dry up. I remember one year with an early snow in Big Bear, while the mountains still were snow capped, Lucerne got a downpour and it filled up. Driving by, you got the reflection of the snow peaks of Big Bear in Lake Lucerne - Lucerne Valley actually looked like Lucerne

That disappeared a few years ago, and wasn't there a "No Fishin" sign?

There's a few isolated light showers around the area, but the main frontal boundary is now beginning to move into LA County, so still a good couple hours out from us....

Heading up the mountain soon. Coming up Lucerne side. Lots of wind and blowing sand down here. Glad I didn't wash my car. Hoping to see a few snowflakes tonight up there. Sure beats blowing sand!

Starting to get gusty over on Irving near paradise, too. Hope to see some snow in the AM!
