No good deed goes unpunished.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.

Where's my kayak!!

What doesn't kill me does NOT make me stronger. It makes me anxious, bitchy, and vulnerable...but nobody wants to see that embroidered on a pillow...Lisa Kogan...thx LXL...sorry i stole it from you! Ok, maybe I'm not sorry :-P

But, it doesn't take long and it'll dry up. I remember one year with an early snow in Big Bear, while the mountains still were snow capped, Lucerne got a downpour and it filled up. Driving by, you got the reflection of the snow peaks of Big Bear in Lake Lucerne - Lucerne Valley actually looked like Lucerne

Boots, It was the launch of a Trident II (D5) missile by the U.S. Navy.
The unarmed missile launched from the Kentucky, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine that sits off the coast of Southern California in the Pacific Test Range. The test was pre-planned although not announced or confirmed until a few hours after the launch.

Boots if you google there is a website for reporting and cataloging fireball sightings. I found it a year or so ago when I saw that big one that broke up over Arizona.
