Don't we need another Mexican food place? The 17 we have need more competition! . Ok how about Panda Express? In and Out has always said no to Big Bear. A nice bakery would be great in the village. An alpine themed one would suit well.

How about a huge retail shop that only has maybe 10 dust covered items for sale, with music blaring and a kid at the checkout binge-watching TikTok? Or maybe a food place where you pay (and tip) ahead of time, seat yourself, wipe your own table and wait 45 minutes for the food?

That's a great idea for a store. I can only think of two or three stores in the valley who sell these items. Let's hear from SOCALMOUNTAINS people what would be a great fit for the property? Any ideas?

True all. And, like Doo, our home has its own independent power source. However, out-of-control PSPS's create widespread hardship in Big Bear Valley. If we don't bring this up, the PUC fools won't have these complaints in their meeting notes -- it won't be on the record. Better to speak up about it than fume in silence.

Good point! But some people don't have the $30k in cash to fork out for a solar system. And if you lease, well, then you're paying them for your power, so it doesn't really save you anything in the end.
