Theres been quite a few times when ive been passed by folks doing a bit over the limit who have met the chp st the last big turnout, karma met dogma at that point....

even if someone is going really slow, its just a minor annoyance that you can fix once your at a passing lane

many following cars who are low power, can't get ahead to merge in time, who have no idea first car has horsepower to accelerate back in time that they dont have

problem is, that we have seen many times is that many people try to follow lead passing vehicle, who can't see in front of lead car. we have seen lead hotdogging car pass back into proper lane at last second, leaving following car looking at a headon with no way to get back into lane.

I'm not sure how it classifies as a circus. The circus seems to be when people are going 30 miles an hour and there's 20 cars behind the person that won't pull over. I thought you guys would like having a liberal interpretation. If you really think about it nothing bad happens if I can see way ahead and it's clear. But the societal magnitude of that precious yellow line will discombobulate people's brains.

Hey Springs. Shoot us all a note when you are planning on being on the mountain highways. Thinking most of us would rather not be part of potential circus resulting from liberal interpretation of center yellow line and what is percieved as 'clear' road. Speaking from the passenger seat in this situation. Wasn't fun. And the darn CHP let my partner off with a 'don't do that' warning. I had other words for him

One last thing and I will stop bugging y'all. I don't think all of the head-on crashes are from people trying to pass specifically. I think a lot of them are from people driving crazy on turns and losing control going into the other lane.

If I'm dangerous then let the danger pass or pull over and get out of the way. Or go slow and keep the danger behind you. Very simple.

No one said anything about going on a blind turn. Quite odd how you interpreted that. Just because there is a yellow line doesn't mean it's not safe to pass. If I can see it's clear I will go around. No taxation without representation. I will follow laws that I like. Some man said don't cross the yellow who cares
