Thanks Jelly. I didn't even see a missing person report in the SCM Incidents list over the past 24 hours. Maybe the delay is sheriff protocol, but when you're talking about someone with dementia that's a lot of lost hours that good Samaritans could have been on the lookout... We'll, let's hope she's alive and found soon.

The missing person is Danielle VanPoppel. She works at the feed store next to the Fish Locker. She was last seen yesterday, between Lake Williams and Onyx Summit, at Juniper Springs.

Info from Sheriff's Facebook page (Really? Why wasn't it shared on SCM too?) Anyway, Danielle VanPoppel, age 58, missing since yesterday near the Juniper Springs Campground, between Lake Williams and Onyx Summit. Last seen wearing a black and white flannel shirt and blue jeans.

FYI: Danielle suffers from cognitive impairment, so even though she's a long-time local, she may have become disoriented. If you see her, please call the Big Bear Sheriffs: 909-866-0100

No Sunny88, the eaglets have not been named yet. Still referred to as Chick 1 and Chick 2. Potential names can be submitted but the Eaglets names will eventually be picked by the Big Bear Elementary 3rd graders at a later date
