Been bit by the Grinch Bug bad. why why why do we keep doing this to ourselves every major holiday. I used to justify the BS by telling myself it was worth seeing the eventual smiles and thank yous. Not cutting it any more as it seems no one really cares. 3 fully trashed cabins w/major repairs to start the day off with. (really big sigh). Hope everyone makes it in safely tonight

Based on your earlier report we dared to come up 38 from Mentone. We passed three (count 'em, 3!) cars and one passed us. That was between Forest Falls turnoff and Onyx Summit! We saw about 20 going down (so to speak). What a fabulous drive! Thanks for your report!
