There was an awful lot of traffic on the PCT Fri night through Saturday, congestion even at 4:30 am lights were still seen traversing it. I didn't take note last night.

Per CalFire, the BlackRock Fire is 66 Acres and is surrounded by fire retardant. Black Rock Campground was evacuated, and the area is closed to the public.

Units are making good progress on the fire with numerous aircraft making drops. Tanker 910 (VLAT DC10 Air Tanker) is arriving on the scene right now....
