Did anyone lose power?

Highway 18 is closed from Boulder Bay Park to the dam. I just rode my bike over there and talked to the CalTrans guy at the closure and he confirmed we can still go to Running Springs by going through Fawnskin.

Thank you It seems if we want to go from the village to the west ramp, the road is closed both ways via hwy. 18 and 38.

SR-18 in Big Bear Lake from Big Bear Lake (Cove Rd) to Fawnskin (Route 38/N Shore Dr) (At the 6820 foot level)
IMPACTS: CLOSED Full due to GRINDING AND PAVING.

Is the road `from BB Village to the Dam open tomorrow. I thought I saw a sign that said closed starting the 15th?

Regarding Weeds and Fire Abatement, below is the link to the County maps. These do not currently include the Big Bear FD inspections but may again in the future once the FDs are combined again. The Spring 2026 Map does include UTH Complaints made by other owners, etc. (one in Fawnskin, few in Arrowhead, etc). The Mountain 2026 Inspections and Map are expected to be launched soon. Note that it appears the data has been erased from the Mountain 2025 map.
