Wow, just took a look at the county map for approved STRs. It is rather sobering and obvious that we have reached the over saturation point and the system is broken. Take a look in your neighborhood and be shocked. And we wonder why no full time rentals before $1500 [Click Here]

I can certainly say that this valley is never boring. After sitting in desk duty detention most of the day, went out to check the mai and a job site. Ran into surprise new 3 way stop on Catalina and Avalon. City attempt at Infrstruture? Well, they did put up a sign a few feet before warning about new traffic pattern. Then on way back from town, got to watch 4 of the go karts from the race track race up and down Big Bear Blvd. Most be Monday .

Hey again my know all Big Bear peeps! So, the benches along the peddle path, LOVE them, is there a blue print, or plans anywhere that we may use to build our own? Or, what agency or company was responsible for producing them? Thanks for reading!

Jelly, do let us know if you find anything usefull to us. Would be nice to know what the program is now or if it is just wild west. Did a few from Fire Authority, 1 came with a fine, a couple from the county, a couple from the city, had to do Weed abatement ahead of time to get STR permit renewal, and just did a clean up on a notice that was issued by Fire Authority end of November. ??????????????? I really don't know what to tell my clients other than just hand over thjier wallets.

CALTRANS UPDATE:
SBCO: SR-18 culvert replacement work starting in early May from Big Bear Dam to near Lucerne Valley. Work locations vary, operations are scheduled to begin near the Dam. Mon - Fri FLAGGING both directions. Plan ahead for delays! #Caltrans8

Well, heres the question of the day then. Are we still governed by County Fire Authority or do we bow to the Big Bear Fire Authority now. Or is everyone under jursiditcion of all three, Big Bear Fire, County, and the city and all depends on who gets there first and carries the bigger stick? Would be nice to know who is going to be throwing us under the bus this year.
