During these critical times in our mountain communities, there may be someone in need and others who can offer assistance. This is the time we pull together and become a community.

If you need assistance during the fire, please add to this thread. If you are someone that can help out with a specific need or have services available please post here as well. If you have received the assistance you requested, please let us know and we will mark your post as fulfilled to avoid duplication.

Please bear with us as we figure out the best way to do this. Also, no negative comments are allowed in this thread - they will be deleted.

We can help with a place to stay, animal evacuations, food, etc.

I’m in Arrowbear. I have a large dog crate (St Bernard size) if someone can use it to evacuate or secure a pet. Don’t have much else but do have some space to store random “stuff” if you had to evacuate and want to unload from your car. PM me.

Hi Everyone! Denny59 is still looking to connect with someone that lives in her area that may be able to help should they need to leave the mountain. Is there anyone that can help her and her husband out?

Thanks!

Sportyj HAS reached out. Can't do anything if neighbors who need help don't reach out to those who have offered it!

SportyJ was not able to help due to a personal situation.

Boots - please don't assume that someone isn't responding. I have been talking with Denny59 in the background and she was aware of the situation.

We are still looking for some assistance for Denny59.

Deb and Denny - please check your PMs. I have a friend in that neighborhood who would be happy to help, if the situation arises. As I'm also oxgen-dependent, I would strongly advise you not wait till the very last minute because any panic (or even rushing around too quickly) is going to be harmful for you. I've sent you both my friend's email so you can contact her directly. She's a sweetheart

I am dth in Pearblossom. If things get ugly-which they won’t! I have room for all kinds of critters and can fit a few people too. Smoke moving in but otherwise safe. 661-944-0647, 661-435-6368
