*HIGHLIGHTS*

1. Big Bear: No change in the number of confirmed cases today.
San Bernardino County has not updated its statistics today, thus there is no change in the total number of confirmed cases today. There remain a total of 3 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the City of Big Bear Lake and 2 confirmed cases in the Big Bear City area. HIPAA requirements prohibit the release of additional information about the patients or their specific location.


2. SIGNIFICANT snow is expected this week. NO SNOW PLAY IS PERMITTED.
In Big Bear Lake, both ski resorts are closed, both commercial snow play areas are closed, and no one should be engaging in snow play at any location other than your own property. All public parking lots and on-street public parking spaces in the City of Big Bear Lake are closed, and City enforcement staff will actively ticket and tow vehicles parked illegally on City streets.


3. Big Bear Lake Opening delayed until at Least May 1
The Board of Directors for the Big Bear Municipal Water District (MWD) has delayed the opening of public launch facilities and the surface of the lake until at least May 1 due to the COVID-19 emergency. No vessels are permitted on the lake at this time. MWD continues to monitor the COVID-19 emergency, and will adjust as warranted in the future.
