Subie roof rack question

I have a 2020 Subie Forester and need cross bars for it. I don't want factory Subie crossbars, but am wanting either Yakima or Thule. Is there any pros and cons for each brand? I primarily want those brands because unlike factory, these brands are flat and good for carrying plywood and such flat. Views on each would be much appreciated
