**HIGHWAY 330 CLOSURE ALERT**
Beginning at 5 am on Monday, Sept 9, a full closure of Highway 330 will be in effect until 11:59 pm on Friday, Sept 20 - Manned closures will be set at Highland Ave near the 210 Fwy and Live Oak Dr. near Running Springs. The Detour Routes will be highway 18 and highway 38 (outlined below). We recommend using highway 38 or highway 18 from Lucerne Valley for access to Big Bear. We also recommend using highway 18 from the waterman (San Bernardino) for access to Lake Arrowhead and Running Springs.

SAN BERNARDINO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has completed the rock fall barrier project on State Route 330 (SR-330) near Running Springs. The project removed rock debris from the slope, excavated and reduced slope size and installed a rock-fall barrier.
A full closure began on September 9 to install the new rock fall netting. SR 330 is expected to reopen to traffic as scheduled at approximately 12:00 a.m., Saturday, September 21. Once the route reopens the information will be released on Twitter @caltrans8. Please follow us for the actual time the route reopens.
