Free Telescope

I have a small (50mm) refracting telescope to be given away. I bought two of them with the intention of giving one to a boy or girl to promote an interest in astronomy. Unfortunately, I became involved in another matter.
The telescope is still in the box and it includes two eyepieces (26 and 9.7mm), tripod, diagonal eyepiece holder, smart phone holder, and internet links to download a star chart and an excellent free astronomy program.

The photo shows my assembled unit and the boxed unit.

Would you mail it? I have 3 kiddos who love looking at the stars and moon! We even go out to watch the launches from vanderburg if we can. All are under 6yrs old.

We live in phelan ca now. Moved from running springs just over a year ago.

I'm sorry we will not be able to take it. My husband had already ordered us one. Hopefully someone else will need it instead.

I should have been clearer that age is not so much a factor as is getting the parents instructed and involved. It is so easy to misuse a telescope as they are not toys.
