Pretty! Reminds me - did you see the good news for Tamarack? [Click Here] They're finally gonna cover up the Tyvek on their buildings! Or did it all blow away since I was there last ~7 years ago?

I did see that...hope they get things done this time.
Looks like the bumper does a good job doubling as a snowplow!
I don't think the bumper hit but undercarriage left some drag marks. It was 11" in the drive and a bit more at the berm. They do a good job not berming too bad.

Do you have any idea if McCall is having a below-average snow year? Last 2 winters at our place in North Idaho, we've had around 2 1/2-3 ft. of snow on the ground this time of year. This year, it's barely 12"! I have more snow on the ground at my place in Fawnskin right now!

We are somewhere around 90" so far and average is 132". Feb avg is mid 20's so this month is killing it! Expecting 20-30 more this week after 14" the last two days. McCall is actually getting more than Brundage the last few days. March-April avg is about 20" total so pretty close to normal.
Found this map showing snow on ground and it is pretty close to the right depth at our place: [Click Here]

Good morning Cap'n,
It's nice, and another good thing is the snow is usually light and fluffy so you can drive through it even when it's over 20". Only once so far has it had any icy chunks.

A veritable winter wonderland. Now I'm even more jealous.
The time I skied (snowboarded, actually, but that sounds funny to say) at Tamarack, I rode the lift with a patroller who said a lot of their storms end in rain.

Looks like you had to rake the roof? Ugh. I assume you have a door from the garage to the house?

Metal roof so snow sheds itself. Have a tunnel on the south side.

Oh, and yes you can get in the house from the garage.

i was going to say that's a long crawl to get to the door.

From what I remember, being up there several years ago, it's a lot like here, in that there's a snowy side and a less snowy side of town. Owl picked the snowy side (good choice, it's closer to the ski area!) You drive a few miles (south in this case) and there's a lot less snow.

Geeze, what is your average snowfall? I assume this is an anomaly year? Or is it just so cold that it never melts and keeps piling up? Still, a good amount of snow! We've had about 70" of snow this season, but we get a foot, it melts, we get another 6" it melts and so on. The beauty of SoCal winters I s'pose!

We have passed our average which is 132" and yes it never goes away. Been above freezing maybe twice in the last few months. The problem is it's not a few big storms but a lot of small storms and not much sun in between. About 11 snowstorms a month. Febru-buried pretty much snowed every day.
Brundage got over 11' for the month
I know what you mean...when we lived in Mt Shasta we averaged 9' but rarely got more than 3' on the ground as it would melt between storms.
