Dank? Okay, I'll give it a try. How bad could it be? After all this place didn't kill me.

So we were told that DANK meant something good to a certain type of person. We have since been told it doesn't mean that to most folks. Here's what the urban dictionary says (out of 8 different definitions!). We are hopeful the donuts turn out to be really great even if the name isn't....
Dank
Dank, is an adjective which is over-used by people in general and mostly by people trying to appear cool to their stoner friends. Dank means dark, sticky, gooey, and potent. It was originally a common word to describe disgusting basements and caves ect. Then the world of pot took it over and was using it very correctly to describe very potent strains of marijuana, seeing as the definition of dank meets all the qualities you find in good marijuana. Then "squares" and people who wanted to look cool to stoners started using it to describe anything they think is "cool" which in turns makes them believe they themselves are "cool" as well. In reality it makes them seem as illiterate as an ape. M&M's are not dank, chips are not dank, and your clothes are definitely not dank, you need to stop overusing and killing the word.
Stoner- "Wow man, this bud i got off that chill guy I met is pretty dank, i'm definitely going to buy from him again."

Stoner's Lame friend- "Yeah man, i got this really dank shirt today from A&F"

Stoner- "You got a sticky and gooey shirt? are you an idiot? Oh, and from Ambercrombie & [censored]? Man, get the hell out of here, you're ruining my high"

Should be interesting.

They're clearly going after the snowboarder traffic and, with their location, should have a geographic monopoly on that crowd if their product is as good as they claim and their prices aren't too exorbitant.

Their name and marketing vibe is likely to attract Millenials from the slopes during the winter. The real test will come during the other seasons. Their proximity should draw from the Moonridge area in the off season but will they capture enough of the market from other parts of the valley? Only time will tell.

Notwithstanding their hipster slant (I'm not hip), I'll give them a try and hope they succeed.

I wish them good luck. I do miss the great donuts along with biscuits and gravy that we used to get at Big Bear Donuts in BBC.

We gave Danks a try this morning. The place was pretty busy around 8ish. Killer donuts and fresh baked breads. Not gonna lie there was a group of younger peeps in front of us ordering beer with their dounts! lol. Everything tasted great! Might try something different 2maro!
