Jellylorum2 hour(s) ago The desert cicadas up here mostly turn up in the mountain-desert interface of Baldwin Lake and Erwin Lake.
Jellylorum2 hour(s) ago Stormie - we do get cicadas. They are the annual desert type. Some years we get dozens all at once for a couple months, some years nearly none. Unlike the periodic type, they have no set time to emerge.
BootsNBridles2 hour(s) ago So no one else saw that burning piece of space junk/meteorite last night? Amazing.

SCM ALERT🚨17 hour(s) ago HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO: Northshoreboy bunbear7 Have a great day from all of us at SCM!
BootsNBridles20 hour(s) ago WHOA WHOA WHOA - that was an amazing piece of space junk! Just about 10-15 minutes ago I was headed east on State and was at the dark end when a HUGE piece of something, glowing bright blue and green, came hurtling out of the sky leaving a very distinct trail behind it! It went over the ridge headed toward Lake William. WOW. I mean stunned me! Glad no one was behind me when I slammed on the brakes!! Anyone else see it? It was BIG, odd and not quite quadrilateral, and not very far up in the sky. So cool!

SCM ALERT🚨1 day(s) ago @SanBernardinoNF Have An Axe to Grind?🪓Well, get it out & buy your wood permit from the Big Bear Discovery Center. The visitor center is once again selling wood permits. The staff is also able to sell interagency passes. Now if they only had a soda machine.🤔#SBNF #SanBernardinoNationalForest [Click Here]As of April 16, 2024 at 03:35PM
