HERE'S THE UPDATED SNOWPOOL! WE'RE AT 48" OFFICIALLY, A LITTLE OVER A FOOR FROM OUR SEASONAL AVERAGE OF 62" AND STILL PLENTY OF WINTER LEFT!

EVEN THOUGH WE'RE IN A BIT OF A DRY PATCH, FEBRUARY AND MARCH ARE STATISTICALLY OUR WETTEST MONTH SO WE'LL HOPE FOR THE BEST!

Naw, just for playin you get a one-year free membership to SCM!!!

While it doesn't look like we'll get a ton of snow from our current storm, Monday-Tuesday's storm shows more hope! Preliminarily I think we could pick up around a half foot of new snow next week, possibly more storms behind that even!

As of 5 pm today, there are now 2 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the City of Big Bear Lake. The San Bernardino County COVID-19 dashboard also indicates 1 confirmed case in Big Bear City. HIPAA requirements prohibit the release of additional information about the patients or their specific location.

Thanks, Grizzly GMama we all have to treat each other as best we are able in these times, and every day in normal times for that matter.

Boots, I read it on FB (so it may or may not be true), but my son in Irvine had also heard of it.

Boots. Thank you for the positive thoughts. The young man is in surgery. Unfortunately The fully loaded belly dumper is possibly the cause. Can’t say legally. Would be nice for everyone keep the victim in your prayers.

Haven't heard anything like that boots. I know the prez contemplated it with NY and was deemed unlawful, so very unlikely. We're pretty much already there, no need for more. Just keep doing what we're doing, it is having an impact.

Anyone heard a rumor about a mandatory 2 week quarantine for EVERYONE coming up? I've now heard it/read it four times.

I hope the CalTrans worker makes it. I hope the rig driver gets counseling. Sad for everyone involved.
