floor of Genkan (Japanese word for lower area where you take tour shoes off) is made from slate with Ordovininian seabed shale, with fish and coral fossil, we dug from Montana. Sides of walls and under srair treads is local highly mineralized rubble rock from Holcomb area. Stair treads are aged from 3 inch slabs we cut, to look really old. Stairs at bottom are 6 feet wide, have the 4 bottom treads so far, but hoping to get rest cut soon.

will put black grout between Genkan slabs, and clearcoat over with a glosscoat to make it shiny and look wet. This way easy to hose out winter mud and mess out the front door

That is over-the-top excellent craftsmanship work. Something DIY television would luv to get their hands on! And tend to help with labor & funding.

We have a ~2850 sq ft, 2 story garage, 13 ft lower floor (to house a car lift) that has been through architectural design and still at engineering phase. I couldn't imagine tackling what you have accomplished thus far! Magical!

For comparison, Crestline (nearest official particulate monitor) has recorded a mere 5 days of "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups". Ozone is a different story...

Mammoth Lakes has had over 10 days of "Hazardous" air quality. It's had an additional 25 days of "Very Unhealthy" and 40 days of "Unhealthy". Basically an entire season of astronomically bad air quality.
