There's a 3rd patch of snow in the gully north of Bighorn Mountain, and possibly a 4th patch north of the 2 shown in the photos above. This satellite photo is from Sept. 28th.

If we don't have a late winter, we just might have the beginnings of a glacier up on San Gorgonio! Last time this occurred was 2005. You know I'll be watching very closely to see what happens in the coming weeks.
I took these pictures this morning from just south of Onyx Summit.

Benny...have to go down early for Doctor on Wednesday and wondering if you have an idea when our mountain storm might move in....ie Tuesday Night? or if Wednesday what part of Wednesday...just ball park (LOL). Sorry to bother, but you do know your weather!!!!!
