Here are some photos of the Lake Fire every hour starting from 4:30pm around the time when the fire started.
Each shot is 1 hour later (4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm) so you can see the progression. Click on the photo to enlarge them. Notice the big flare up from a spot fire on the 7:30pm image.

Timelapse from the SanG cam (12 midnight to 10pm). Covers the Lake Fire in Barton Flats that started around 4pm. You will have to fast forward the video about 2/3rds the way to get to the 4pm hour when the fire started. You can really see it spotting a couple hours into the fire.

10:30PM Fire Snapshot from the San G Cam. As you can see in this photo the eastern flank of this fire is where a lot of the activity is.

Forest Service map of where this fire is approximately located. They were just talking about the fire making a run in section 27. You can see the areas and sections in this map. If you hear other sections, then you can locate them on this map. Click the map to enlarge it (you will need to)

And just for reference the fire started in Area 21, so it's made a pretty good run to the south-east.

Generally those forest service will have sign when it’s required.
But I’m wondering if BBLMWD put into thought that limitation on parking lot is having adverse affects on traffic by the east boat ramp. Don’t know did it but someone picked up a lot trash along from the weekend on Northshore. Saw about 10 white full trash bags when going to the farmers market today. So thank you to whoever was responsible.

If these people that are parked all over the place at the lake aren't being charged for an adventure pass somebody is losing a ton of money.

Yeah no trees here to speak of. Our Plant Hardiness Climate Zone changes a notch I think.

QuietOne, interesting, i didn't know the assigned station had to relocate (move) to the on call empty station (cover). Thought they just handled the busy dept's area. Bring you pillow bunk swap!
