Anyone have any insight on Bear Creek Rentals? One of the guys I work with is looking at this as a place to bring his daughters for a 3 day vacation in January.

And, if you have any other suggestions of inexpensive places to stay, please share!

Thanks.

We stayed at golden bear cottages when we were cabin hunting two years ago, jacuzzi bathtubs, kitchens, it was reasonable as I remember.

I always liked the Grey Squirrel. Costs a little more but everything always worked within the cabins and it was comfortable.

Good morning everyone. Slowly the needle is moving to normal regarding fires here in SoCal. Our air quality dth has slowly improved to moderate. Looks like we will be taking a trip up to our place later this week. Have a great day!

Airport Razz they gave all the money back to where it came from, as best they could, and the money they couldnt return was put on a current program. They had a big write up in the Grizzly and even told people if they donated they could get their money returned by x date.

Excellent news KK, dark ages are for no one. KB, Benny, I remember when this was a big deal but it was for a short time. Something happened that overshadowed it. Here is the intersting question. What happened to the $180,000 donated by the County, $380,000 raised and donated by Soroptimists, and the funds that were raised with a majority of the donation coming from Man About Town Campaign efforts?? Thats a lot of money that was dedicated to this project.

My text alert from SCE says the generator to temporarily power up FF has arrived in town and they're working on restoring power as soon as possible. And just when I was getting used to eating ice cream in the dark . . .
