Thanks y'all. After the calls stopped, we headed into town to just wander around. We stopped in to North Pole for some ice cream and then Cowboy Fancy where I found something for myself (oops) before Sharon managed to find something for herself (phew). Ended up doing dinner at Captain's Anchorage - one of our favorite places. Wonderful meal! All in all, a great day in our full time little mountain paradise! We love it here! rimannex could be drift smoke depending on the wind direction from either the la county fire or the san diego fire, so some one with a bbq,, friends on sherwood mentioned ding bats on their street had fire works and an open bbq - mabe this is one of them..
