not really hearing much about this fire on scanner only getting equiptment in here and there like setting up pump trucks near the fires so fire engins won`t have to travel far to get water.. and where some folks are allowed back in like the South side of Foxton Road they are allowed back in but anything on the North side is off limits due to the fire still active.. heavy air support has arrived and has been dumping water 30,000 gallons so far this morning.. and putting a dent in the fire..

also of this is coming in from jeffcosheriffco and denver news..

update still alittle above 4,000 ac - ic command is letting some folks go visit the area where their homes are.. other places are still under mandatory evaucation.
2 air tankers were sent to the fire in south dakota but there are still 1 other tanker from forestry and 4 black hawk helicopters from the National Guard on scene. they have made good progress as the fire has not advance very much in 2 days.. the first day was the worse as it traveled about 4 square miles in 2 hours, with heat of this fire reaching 1000 degrees where it melted every thing melted in sight from fencing to cars and trucks and trailers.

getting reports of smoke checks but fire fighters are on these quick. * great work ffs *

Fire Fighters have been having another great day on the fire lines as it is they have
gained 70% containment.. which is great due to winds are expected to come in tomorrow. and more and more people have been allowed to go home.

Great Work FFs

Death tolls have been reduced...24 including 7 children. Tragic but an important reminder that accurate information takes time

Hug your family, reach out to your friends, and look around at all the new friends you've yet to make. Prayers to all those whose lives will never be the same.
