Does anyone know of a weather history link I can look at for Big Bear? I need to know if it snowed on Feb 16th and how much? I'm getting charged for a plow that day but, I don't remember it snowing or if we had that much.
Try looking back in the weather section. That is usually a good indicator. No good deed goes unpunished.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.

Actually, I did write down on my BB calendar a mention of snow just before 2/16. Wrote 1/2" snow on 2/11. Also wrote that it was snowing as we were leaving at around 1PM on 2/13... Also wrote the word Snow on my calendar for 2/15. I've not got amounts for the 13th or 15th but looks like they had reason to plow for you the 16th.
Wow you're good Juliann! Thank you! I wouldn't think that my resort company would plow for nothing but, when a guest is checking in and there's just 4 inches, they plow and it gets expensive. I could not recall of snow that day. They are only supposed to plow if the guests are arriving, not if it snows and guests are already there, unless the guest requests a plow at their own expense. I found 2 charges for plows on my account. One of them happened while I was there last month towards the end of Feb, where there was a foot I think. My truck can easily carve through that and I didn't request it.

You're welcome! Having been born and bred in Los Angeles, snow is a very welcome sight. Hubby born in southern Ca, also. Having to leave when it is snowing is cause for disappointment, hence a note. Finally, this weekend, we hopefully get to experience some snow! Last good one we enjoyed was mid-December. We had never had driveway plowed by someone else (9 years) until that monster snow of January '10. That winter's snow, particularly on deck, caused husband some major muscle aches. Now I hire when we're not here and we can't keep ahead of it... oh yeah.
I've got mine on a rental program for the moment. It's sometimes hard to separate myself from my cabin but, it pays the bills and thankfully no mortage. It's doing really well but, the down side is, sometimes I just want to run up there to enjoy it but it'll be booked.

a bit late to the party.. you don't need the waiver to ride the sky chair if you are walking. Only bike riders need the waiver. The walk down is a different path this year and steeper.
