I think Palm Springs had an 80mph gust or so also which is weird for them. 99 is pretty strong however. I think it would take a Scantenna to the next county

I want an anemometer!! I swear the winds are blowing about 70mph here at times. Anyone know where I can get one affordably?

Define affordably...I bought Cammy a handheld one at Amazon

What doesn't kill me does NOT make me stronger. It makes me anxious, bitchy, and vulnerable...but nobody wants to see that embroidered on a pillow...Lisa Kogan...thx LXL...sorry i stole it from you! Ok, maybe I'm not sorry :-P

Hmmm...reasonable would be under $75. :-) Never thought about a hand held one. I'm not sure I could STAND UPRIGHT outside in some of these winds!!

Yeah, I wondered where that thing went. Driving by snow valley last week I saw it! Nicely mounted and in pretty good shape!

I don't believe it for a minute. You don't go west of the dam. Come to think of it I don't think you go that far west.

So lets see- kids were in a tree building a fort, dropped a hammer, hit Goat in the face which caused him to crash into a camp fire where they were making fajitas thus burning his hand and getting fajita all over his shirt! Does that explain it?
