Yes, they work in chat but not in threads. No dialog box pops up. I select the emotes button and nothing happens. I hope this helps!

I get the full emotes box to come up in the chat window, but when I try to open the emotes in the forums, I only get the first few lines of them, not the full emotes box. I just assumed it was something with the iPad I use up here....which, being an Apple product, it very well could be!

Io have that on the iPad as well. But our Mac desktop won't open the emote box at all in chat

They have never worked for me in the forums. I am also using chrome.
The size dialog and color dialog boxes do not open either.

Never figured out why some people feel the need to comment when they have no idea!

I'm still having no problems on my Mac. I'm on a Macbook Pro, running 10.6.7, and using Safari 5.0.5. Don't have an iPad to try it on (yet).

Well, time to bump this back up. emotes no longer work for me either in the forums. I have the exact symptoms that Oden describes above. Since my last post, I've upgraded to OS 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1. I have no idea which caused the problem.

Is the village really busy this weekend?
We need dinner and thought if it was quiet in town we would try something there.
