Press Release
This year the Orange County Wheelmen, an Orange County Bicycle Club, will be
holding their 27th Annual Ride Around the Bear Century. This ride attracts riders from
the entire Southern California area. Always a challenging ride for those 400 cyclists that
want to test their endurance with over 9000 feet of elevation gain in 106 miles. This ride
starts in Sylvan Park, Redlands, and typically proceeds up the mountain by way of route
330. Due to the disruption on Route 330, the coarse will be re-routed this year, up Route
18 and along Rim of the World, through Arrowhead Highlands, and into Running
Springs, then on to Big Bear Lake, North Shore to Fawnskin. Lunch will be at Dana Park
where we will then continue on 38 to Greenway then on over to Big Bear Blvd to
Greenspot, where it is up, up, up to Onyx Summit, then 40 miles back down the hill to
Redlands.
Please keep an eye out for us as we look forward to another great day at our “Ride
Around the Bear.”

You mean to tell me they ride 106 miles only to end back in Redlands?

Does, or did, the missing woman, Karen Doleman work at B's? She looked so familiar to my wife and I and we thought that was where we had seen her.
