What the heck is that thing? Some sort of staff you have to carry when you go to Tribal Council to see of you're voted off? Or maybe it's the Immunity Idol!

Good call Geezer, that is the firepit right behind it.
Actually local art the parts spin in the wind, darndest thing though, I was watching it and the "moon" portion spun one way and the smaller "cups" above and below spun the other. Not sure why that would work that way.

We were just there, too....May 2 to May 6! So much to do there! Did you go to Slide Rock SP or Red Rock Crossing? Saw some cliff dwellings, too... And went on a Pink Jeep ride...Broken Arrow... Weather is perfect in early May, that's for sure : )
Great pictures!

Mainly mtn. biked and hiked. Slide Rock is cool, as is all of the Oak Creek Canyon. Saw a number of Pink Jeeps, Pinenut was told that Broken Arrow was the one to take if we went. You must have really recognized some of those photos then, as a few of them were taken up there.

As for the photos evidently Cammy took them.

A body was recovered in the area Stormie, awaiting the official coroners report but likely that of the missing hiker.
