I think you have the right spot. It is a little hard to get there, and it might be a surprize when you do, For some reason I thought the hunting stand was dor a bow hunter. Maybe because the range would have been pretty short. It should be almost due South from where you would most likely park in a little glade with a bunch of small trees around it. I don't remember any big rocks around it but I didn't go further West, Bad thing about looking for bears is that you always feel they are around I'm not sure why I thought there may have been a house there but I think there was a tire swing in a tree and at least a lot of people had camped, or picnicked there there is a trail in the area that is marked on maps leading from Bluff lake to the dam. Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

The climbing area is on the rim, south and west from the platform. The other big rocks, possibly the Stonehenge area, are a bit south and east of the climbing area. I don't remember seeing a tire swing but do remember seeing something that looked like a foundation and some wood planks. I'll take some pics if I can find it again. I think the "tire swing" might be just a rope. or part of it still tied to a limb. I am wondering if there may be two hunting stands since it seems to me it would be in the opposite direction. If you managed to end up on the little knoll that was a heliport my platform would have been near where that sput took off around a log if that makes any sense to you.
