There is a liquor license application in the window of the Pub. Didn't notice if it was just beer and wine or for a full liquor license. Does anyone know if the Pub is opening up again?

Saw a work crew in there renovating the place. Looks like it's definitely going to reopen, but don't know if it's going to be a pub again or some other type of restaurant.

Drove by tonight and it was open for business. I think the new name was simply 'Nightclub' (hope I'm remembering that right).

I heard it's really nice inside. That coupled with the new pub going upstairs of the old Mandoline's should bring the village two classy watering holes. It is so embarrassing to send guests elsewhere only to have a fight or two break out....

stopped by during the Wine Walk and talked to the bartender/owner. He said that he has a dj and at night the music is hip hop and techno. And loud.......
During the Wine Walk (late afternoon/early evening) it looked pretty much like a bar.

I think that place is called Avi (sp?) for Avalanche. Went in there a few weeks ago. They have a nice selection of alcohol, not just the basic well stuff. The guy in there was pretty cool and said that they also have a bar in Wrightwood. Not into techno or hip hop but it seems like a nice place to go for an afternoon drink.
