They mention our new Habit restaurant in chino hills. We have tried to go several times and the line is always out the door even at odd hours.
Hubby had 5 Guys in S Carolina and said they are good
I grew up with The Habit in the Ventura/Santa Barbara area and the line is because they are a really great burger. The albacore tuna steak sandwich is also really good. That makes for a tough decision whenever I'm there. Burger, tuna, burger, tuna...
Looking forward to trying 5 Guys. In-N-Out will always be among my top favs, but it's nice to have good variety.

I am dying to try both of those places. Five Guys is on my list next time I am down the mountain. Mountain Mike who lives in Ventura tried the Habit and said it was very good.
Debbie, when you get to a really odd hour and can get in, give us a review! WINTER IS OVER AND SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!
We finally got in to the Habit. Turns out that a line out the door really doesn't mean much. The order counter is 5 feet inside the door. The burgers were good. Milk Shakes were great. Not so keen on their onion rings. But all in all, I think the burger may have beat out in-n-out.
Wow, thanks for the report Debbie. Now I HAVE to try the Habit. This Summer is starting to get busy. 100 burger places in 100 days WINTER IS OVER AND SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

According to their web site, Five Guys in Redlands is now open. Going down there tomorrow for my son's orthodontist visit, so we'll stop by for lunch. I'll report back.

I love the Habit burger and a shake. I had a 5 Guys open up about 20 minutes from me in Thousand Oaks. The wife and I have been there twice now and it is very good. My wife said that is her favorite burger. A small order of fries is enough for 2 people.
Dang, all this talk is making me hungry. I'm gonna have to drive out to T.O. tonight for so 5 Guys.
