I had heard about someone doing that. I will have to ask someone else that might know more than I do about his name and all.

I am not sure but maybe BSF might.
there was an inventor over there that built off road cars that may have tried something like that. It would have been a long time ago.
I know we kicked the idea around in high school but never got anywhere with it
we did do it with boards on pne needle covered steep slopes in summer, same basic ifea

I was told that Eric Schwartz (of Get the Burger) was one of the early BB pioneers of snowboards. You might want to talk to him.

Does it involve a styrofoam box?

Hello. My Mom, who was born in 1915, grew up in Fawnskin. Not sure if you have discovered this in your research, but the Pederson sawmill in Fawnskin was built by my uncle and grandfather Edgar and Earl Piatt. Pederson bought it from them. I have a couple of pictures of them working the sawmill on my facebook page. Ingrid

I had never heard that before. I went to school with Alden. Great family.
do you have a history of your family on the hill?
I'm sure you knew Ted Ducey, another old timer from Fawnskin
